The Foundation was formed in memory of Dr. Samatha E. Shoobs, who died after a long struggle with cancer, by her father, sister and husband. The Foundation will make cash grants to tax-exempt organizations as selected by its Board of Directors. The Foundation's primary interest is in supporting organizations engaged in cancer treatment research, including The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Pink Agenda.
