In Loving Memory: The Dr. Samantha E. Shoobs Foundation Launch

On the one-year anniversary of the passing of Dr. Samantha E. Shoobs, the Dr. Samantha E. Shoobs Foundation is proud to announce its official launch. Established to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Shoobs, who died after a courageous battle with cancer, the Foundation is dedicated to advancing cancer research and supporting organizations on the front lines of treatment innovation.

The Foundation’s mission is to fund and elevate organizations focused on improving cancer outcomes through research and awareness, with early efforts focused on supporting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Pink Agenda, two organizations that were especially meaningful to Samantha and her loved ones.

“Sam devoted her life to helping others—through medicine, research, and an unwavering sense of purpose,” said her father, Jerome Griffith. “This Foundation allows us to carry her work forward and invest in a future where fewer families experience the loss we have.”
